History of PCM Consulting, Inc.

PCM Consulting, A Cumming Company, is a privately held project and cost management consulting firm formed in 1998. Originally, we focused on providing project management, procurement support, scheduling, and cost control consulting services to the microelectronic and biopharmaceutical industries. In 2001, we began diversifying our business by taking on greater project management and project control work throughout our two main industries. PCM Consulting then created two new divisions supporting financial and insurance institutions’ real estate transaction work, along with government-funded projects. In July of 2023, PCM Consulting merged with Cumming Group, a renowned industry leader in project and cost management. Cumming Group and PCM offer a comprehensive suite of solutions, combining deep industry knowledge with unrivaled project management expertise to drive successful outcomes for our clients worldwide.

With over 95% repeat business, our growth and success continue to be a direct result of the quality service that we provide. PCM is currently consulting on several billion dollars of active capital construction work.

The directors of PCM enjoy being very hands-on with their clients’ assignments and make a point to always take a unique approach for each project. Ninety-five percent of our staff have college degrees in a discipline related to the building industry— Construction Management, Finance, Economics, Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Process Engineering.
Twenty-five percent of our staff have graduate degrees and/or registrations in their areas of discipline.
